Youth discover these traits through various activities in the toolkit that lead to the discovery of their strengths and character traits.
The toolkit is a spiral bound 40 page booklet that is broken up into four sections. The first is “Self Discovery” where youth analyze their personality, interests, hobbies and strengths. The second is the “Social-Self”, where youth reflect on their aspirations and their visions for their future. The exercises in section 2 help them discover their core values. The third is “Self-Affirmation” where youth reflect on previous sections and declare their personality and core values, they are then asked to make mood boards and visual references to their answers. Finally, section 4 takes them through the process of filling out a Concepting Matrix that leads to the creation of their own brandmark that is unique to them and embodies who they are.
